What This Site Is
Tijuana River Watch is an independent citizen advocacy tool. It exists to help residents of Imperial Beach, Coronado, San Ysidro, Chula Vista, and South San Diego document sewage odor events and apply sustained pressure on the government officials responsible for addressing the Tijuana River sewage crisis.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, political party, law firm, or environmental organization.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use this site only to submit genuine, first-hand complaints about conditions you have personally experienced. You agree not to:
- Submit false, fabricated, or misleading complaints
- Submit complaints on behalf of others without their knowledge and consent
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit complaints
- Attempt to manipulate complaint counts or trigger alerts fraudulently
- Use this site for any purpose other than citizen advocacy related to the Tijuana River sewage crisis

Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. If you have legal questions about your rights as a resident affected by the sewage crisis, consult a licensed attorney.
No Guarantee of Results
Filing a complaint through this site does not guarantee any government response, remediation, or other outcome. Alert emails are sent automatically to officials, but we have no control over how — or whether — those officials respond.

Automated alert emails are sent from tijuanariverwatch@gmail.com via Google Apps Script. We cannot guarantee delivery to every recipient. Official contact addresses are subject to change. We are not responsible for bounced, filtered, or unread emails.

Air quality data, official contact information, and other content on this site is provided for informational purposes and may not always be current. Always verify critical health information with official sources such as the San Diego Air Pollution Control District (SDAPCD) at sdapcd.org.
